Dr. dos Santos is a licensed Physical Therapist with more than 30 years of experience. He has specialization in varied manual therapy techniques, including but not limited to spinal and peripheral joint manipulation and mobilization, muscle energy, myofascial release, and Global Postural Reeducation (RPG, acronym in French). Dr. dos Santos’s physical therapy treatments have a holistic approach targeting the causes of the injury and not only the symptoms of pain and disability.

• Graduated in Physical Therapy and obtained his Master of Science in Human Physiology in Brazil (UEL and UNICAMP).
• Doctor (Ph.D.) in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Kansas Medical Center.
• Post-doctoral training in Movement Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago, IL, USA.
• More than 50 peer-reviewed articles in the physical therapy, biomechanics, and motor control fields.
• Served as an Assistant Professor and researcher at the Departments of Physical Therapy of the Santa Catarina State University, SC, Brazil, and the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, US.
• Currently an Associate Professor at the University of St. Augustine in Miami, FL, USA.
